In June, Google announced it was deprecating seven structured data types from working within Google Search. Now, Google is also removing the reporting related to six of the seven of those structured data types.
The impacted structured data types. Google will stop reporting on Course Info, Claim Review, Estimated Salary, Learning Video, Special Announcement, and Vehicle Listing.
Google did not mention Book Actions in this announcement.
Impacted reports. Google will stop reporting and showing data related to those structured data types in these tools:
Search Console rich result reporting
Rich Result Test
List of Search appearance filters
Search Console API. Google will then remove the data from the Search Console API in December 2025.
When it comes to exporting, Google said, “For bulk data export users, keep in mind that the deprecated search appearance fields will be reported as NULL by October 1, 2025. If your queries have conditions, you may need to update them.”
Why are they being removed. Google originally said they “believe this change contributes to a cleaner, more focused Search results page for everyone.” Google added they are not used that much. “We’re phasing out these specific structured data types because our analysis shows that they’re not commonly used in Search, and we found that these specific displays are no longer providing significant additional value for users,” Google added.
Google said, “Removing them will help streamline the results page and focus on other experiences that are more useful and widely used.”
Why we care. The removal of structured data support already done over the past few months. But now you can no longer see this data in Search Console and Search Console rich result reporting and the Rich Result Test. The API and bulk exports will stop showing the data soon too.
So make sure to export the data if you want to save it.
